Any Way You Look At It
The DH's Cambridge Jacket is all but finished. You may note that there is a little something shiny there on the sweater. Is that a pencil? What?
Yeah, that's right. Take a closer look.
That is a crochet hook. I knew all along that I would have to crochet around the edges of this sweater, but now the moment of truth has arrived. I know it will be worth it, but, yeaurgh! Any way you look at it, I must crochet. The things we do for love.
Like this:
I know that at first glance, this looks like a rather um, glamorous, expensive yarn. If you look closer, however, you will see that I have indeed purchased more acryllic. In my defense, however, it is for someone who is wool intolerant and needed something machine wash/dry. It's also a pretty nice quality acryllic. No doubt, however, when you find out what it's going to be when it grows up, you would be properly scandalized. Any way you look at it, it's cheap but it sure does try hard (just like me! Hee hee!)
And now, a little bit of Name That Tune:
Any way you look at it, this bit of Holiday Yarn is almost halfway to fruition!
I might be gone for a while, the annual year end trek is nigh, and there's plenty to be done before we go! Happy knitting to one and all (and if you don't knit, happy whatever it is you do do!)

For the record, I have a stash of Red Heart, yikes! That Cambridge jacket has a nice shape. I wonder if it will look nice on an apple shape?
Fear not the crochet hook! For she brings you good tidings of Firm and Fancy Edges. Or something.
I'm knitting socks out of LB Wool East and LIKING IT right now, so I cast no stones at your acrylic. If the price is right and the yarn is soft, it's all good. Easy care, too!
