Happy Halloween
This year, we had no superheroes here at the Bitter Residence. Preliminary polls led us to believe we might be visited by Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty and a gypsy, but as the day approached, 5 year old minds changed and we ended up with a matched set of spooky, yet adorable...
Skeletons! Yes, still no princesses here, but my mom and I did manage to sneak little hearts into the ribcages (thanks for the idea, Skippy!), and they are pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself.
The weather was so nice we didn't even need to put jackets on under the sweatshirts.
After a quick Trick or Treat session, the girls were in charge of handing out candy at my mom's house, and managed to bring out civility and manners to even the non-costumed teenaged boys who came by. All in all, a nearly perfect Halloween here. Hope all who were celebrating had a fun, safe and spooky night!
